From Soldier to Soldier
supporting Help for Heroes

Malene Taylor, Export Manager at Aagaard, presented the donation of GBP 70,000 to the ‘’Help for Heroes’’ organisation, during the recent Jewellery Show at Spring Fair International in Birmingham.

Donation to Help for Heroes

The donation is generated by From Soldier to Soldier bracelets sold in the Untied Kingdom. Help for Heroes is an organisation caring for wounded British veterans and their families. Aagaard is proud to help and acknowledges everybody who buys and carries the From Soldier to Soldier bracelets for being part of this worthy cause.

Emma Parry, one of the co-founders of the non-political organisation Help for Heroes, says:

“We were honoured that Aagaard chose to support Help for Heroes with their ‘From Soldier to Soldier’ bracelet. It has already been a huge success and helps provide direct, practical support for our wounded guys and girls and their families for life. We would like to thank Aagaard for supporting us and everyone who has bought a bracelet, it’s making a huge difference to our heroes.”

From Soldier to Soldier

The Story

Jewellery designer Claus Sheelke got the idea for the ‘From Soldier to Soldier’ bracelet when an acquaintance in the armed forces, Stefan Hylleberg, returned from a tour of duty with a handmade bracelet for the benefit of a fallen fellow soldier.

The bracelet was woven from parachute cords, and its lock was a button from a uniform.

Claus Scheelke was taken by the story and asked for permission to develop the idea and put the bracelet into production in collaboration with Aagaard. The woven bracelet is still made of original parachute cord, but now comes with a silver or gold plated lock.
